INVISIBLE

Around three million women in Spain are domestic and care workers, women who have occupied, occupy and will occupy an essential place in the community, society and the country's economy. However, it is still one of the most invisible, precarious and overexposed to gender-based violence jobs simply because it is carried out by women.

HUMAN BEHIND

The global pandemic has once again highlighted the sacrifice that millions of women around the world continue to make in order to combine domestic work with their other responsibilities.

Understanding care and work in the home as something natural and essential for women continues to be a reality that only leads to the violation of our rights.

When the system is unequal in the recognition and regularisation of work, we are also talking about gender-based violence.

In INVISIBLE, four rural women show that the claim from our homes is only the beginning.
